Updates, Software Support, and MORE is provided FREE via the QIMTonline (Quametec Institute of Measurement Technology) website for licensed Uncertainty Toolbox™ users. If you are a licensed user of ANY version of Uncertainty Toolbox™, you can join the "Uncertainty Toolbox™ Software User Group" found at http:\\www.qimtonline.com.
As part of your support, via the User Group, you will have access to sample analyses and downloads for versions dating from 2002 up to, and including, the latest version. You will also find User Help Forums and Uncertainty Forums where you can post any problem or question you have 24/7. As an added benefit for our licensed software users, each month we will be adding more real-world sample analyses to the download section.
To gain access to the QIMTonline.com "Uncertainty Toolbox Software User Group" you will need to do the following:
1. Set up a user account at http://www.QIMTonline.com

User accounts at the Institute are FREE; requiring only your name and email address!
2. Contact Quametec and request your FREE Uncertainty Toolbox™ Software User Group "Enrollment Key", which you will need to initially gain access to the "Uncertainty Toolbox™ Software User Group".

Either email info@quametec.com, providing your name and company name along with a request for the "Enrollment Key" for the Uncertainty Toolbox™ Software User Group.

Upgrade Fee
Uncertainty Toolbox™ is periodically upgraded with the addition of new exciting features. If an upgrade happens within your first year of being a licensed user, you will receive that upgrade for free. If you wish to upgrade to a newer major version number, after your first year has passed, you will need to pay the listed "Upgrade Fee", unless you have an "Upgrade Subscription" with Quametec. Typically, we release an upgrade every two years.
Upgrades are identified by a change in either the most significant digit or the first digit to the right of the decimal in the Version Number. "Updates" are identified by a change in the second, or, if used, the third digit to the right of the decimal and signifies fixes to the current version. The current version, as of 21 Apr 2009 is Version 2.881. Anyone with a license for version number 2.8x can download this latest version for free. All major versions ever released by Quametec are available for download to licensed users at the QIMTonline.com site, although only the ones you qualify to use will install with your license number.
