What to Bring
PC Notebook: A PC Notebook or other portable PC with CD-ROM running Windows 95/98/XP/2000/ME/XP or Vista plus Microsoft Excel 2000, 2002, 2003, or 2007 is required. Please make sure that you have "Administrator" login for your computer, have Excel "Analysis Tool-Pak" installed on your computer or bring the Excel install disk with you. Notebooks should be a Pentium 4 or newer with a minimum of 512MB Ram and 20MB available hard disk space. (RENTAL Laptops may be available from QUAMETEC, inquire as needed)
Study Materials: Pens, student workbooks, and analysis software will be provided.
The student will also receive a CD loaded with freeware tools and reference documents on statistics and uncertainty analysis. Analysis Problems: Bring any uncertainty analysis problems that are of interest to your workplace. All that is required is the basic information regarding process and equipment.
