QUAMETEC Institute of Measurement Technology (QIMT) will soon be offering metrology specialist training programs originally developed for the US Air Force and Navy. These proven metrology training materials will soon be available in various formats to assist classroom trainers as well as those seeking self-paced online learning solutions. QUAMETEC is in process of developing complete training programs in all areas of Test, Measurement, Measurement Process Control and Measurement Quality Control Assurance.

The Metron Institute of Measurement Technology, under the Metron Corporation, had offered technical training in measurement and associated fields since 1963 solely to the US Military Metrology Departments. Originally developed for military application, the MIMT program has been acquired by the Quametec Corporation and is being expanded for presentation to other government agencies and private industry by the QUAMETEC Institute of Measurement Technology.

QUAMETEC is in process of reviewing and updating, where deemed necessary, these many fine metrology training programs and will make them available to the general industry through online training, self-paced CD/DVD based training packages and formal training at many select colleges in the USA.
